Drunk Alabama Man Found In Ceiling Of PA Restaurant: Authorities

A 36-year-old man from Alabama got drunk and climbed into the ceiling of a popular Pennsylvania restaurant, authorities say.

Brandon Connell of Thorsby, AL was found in the restroom ceiling of Tomato Pie Cafe located at 3950 Tecport Drive, Harrisburg, on Monday, March 13, 2023, at 3:19 p.m., according to Swatara Township Police.

"Connell was arrested without incident, removed from the premises and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Mischief, Public Drunkenness and Invasion of Privacy," the police stated in the release.

He was remanded to the Dauphin County Prison after failing to post $5,000, the police said in the release and court documents confirm.

His preliminary hearing has been set before Magisterial District Judge Michael J. Smith on March 23, 2023, at 9:30 a.m., court records show.
